Price tag $3900 | Sold

I bought this bike  a year ago at the Daytona supercross. The previous owner was a motorcycle mechanic.

This CL is pretty much all stock, original paint, seat. The odometer reads 15.000 miles and the speedo cable looks like is the one that came with the bike.

No smoke, no noises, no leaks, solid bike.

Bike Quality*:  Unrestored condition / Daily driver

 Work done:

  • New clutch
  • New clutch cable
  • Carb tune up
  • New points
  • New Yuasa battery
  • New light bulbs
  • Fresh oil
  • Fuel lines
  • Lub and clean cables
  • Air filter were replace by UNI pods

Areas that needs attention:

  • Front Brake light switch cable is missing.
  • The tank is dent free but the paint at the top looks faded, same as the housing of the headlight and the the side covers.
  • Wheels are in decent condition, no missing spokes, chrome is shiny but has some areas where it is pitted.
  • Brakes work well.
  • The left side stopper of the triple crown is worn and allow the steering to turn to one side more that the other. Is not an issue by I thought is good to know that. The previous owner din’t mentioned.
  • Left side mirror scratched.
  • Good original condition for a 42-year-old bike.

*Bike quality

It is one of the hardest jobs to convey the subjective condition of a vintage motorcycle through a computer. We restore and sell quality motorcycles in different stages and conditions. Keep in mind that Vintage motorcycles are very photogenic and will ALWAYS need attention and care.
If we list a motorcycles as “vintage”, the following is what you should expect:
Trailer Queen or Show Quality  = This is a top rating given to motorcycles that have gone through professional restorations have and have been very well kept or are in top original survivor condition.

Racer Quality = These are collector vehicles that are in good enough shape to be a proud owner and is in good running condition that can be use for racing. Racer Quality does not mean “ready to race”. Most motorcycles will need SOMETHING adjusted, tweaked, modified, replaced, repaired by YOU before you ride or race it.

Unrestored condition : A bike that is unrestored, and still has most of its original parts

remember  that: a bike can be restored 100 times but can only be original once.

Investment Quality = Mid top range for a vintage motorcycle that is worthy of collecting. Is solid and well kept through-out and has value in its originality and condition, which is expected to appreciate with time.

Project Quality = We very rarely offer projects and as the word implies these are motorcycles that need extended amounts of work and restoration.
